Relive moments from your favourite anime, cartoons and TV shows in a new and hilarious light. The Late-Night Dub-Fight pits members of Synaptic Chaos Theatre and guests against each other to find out who can “improve” classic clips by redubbing them live with their imposing improv skills. No one knows what show host Ian Horner has up her sleeves, or what the cast members will say in this all-out assault on your funny bone.

Cos & Effect Was a Huge Success! The Summer is Almost Over!

Hey guys and gals, a huge thank you to all our established and new fans for making our set out at Cos & Effect 2011 a huge success! We had one hell of a great time, and it’s all thanks to you guys, as well as the awesome staff who ran their event very smoothly, especially for their first year. We may have had a few technical difficulties with the late show, but even then, the weekend was wonderful and you guys managed to pack our shows and the Late Night Dub Fight and we couldn’t be happier to entertain you!

Keep an eye peeled to the website, Facebook, Twitter and be sure to sign up for our brand new newsletter to stay up to date on all our upcoming events and video postings, including our improv shows and LNDF from Cos & Effect 2011!

The summer isn’t quite over yet though, and SCT still has one more place to be. We’ll be at PAX prime in Seattle, WA in two weeks. We may not have any dedicated performing space there this year, but we will be there and if you’re going to be there and are interested in hanging out with us or seeing us at all, feel free to let us know by any of our social media channels!

Animethon Has Come and Gone, But Now We’re Off to a Brand New Con!

We had one hell of a great weekend at Animethon 18, and we want to thank all of our amazing fans for coming out to all our shows, panels and events! You guys packed our rooms and we’re again sorry to the 100+ fans we had to send away from the Late Night Dub Fight due to room size regulations. Don’t fret though, keep a look out for that LNDF video to hit the web soon!

Looking forward, SCT is on it’s way to Cos & Effect in Beautiful British Columbia this weekend, where you can see our late night show, all-ages improv show, the LNDF, and our How to Improv Panels as well. SCT will also be hosting the Cosplay Contest on Sunday! Click here for the full schedule across the weekend, and we’ll see you soon!

It’s Animethon weekend! Once again, MacEwan University will be inundated by anime fans and Synaptic Chaos Theatre will be there to entertain! We’re totally excited to be performing back at our anime alma mater and we hope you’ll come out and get a dose of SCT hilarity!
